Lakeway and the World of Tennis are located in the “Hill Country” on one of Texas´ most beautiful lakes. Lake Travis is more than 25 miles long. Great for skiing, sailing, or just boating, with numerous outstanding restaurants located in the lake area with easy access. Lakeway is a community developed originally as a resort for Houston and Dallas residents as a weekend and summer retreat. With the development of four golf courses and one of the premier tennis facilities in the United States, Lakeway is not only a great summer retreat, but also, an excellent alternative for the "Snowbirds" seeking a winter escape.

As the Lake Travis School District has become one of the top school districts in Texas, Lakeway has become a primary residence for more than 5,000 residents. "The World of Tennis" is our primary resort rental area with two, three, and four bedroom condos with 1,500 to 2,200+ square feet. Almost every bedroom has its own bath (refer to the floor plans below). We are now starting our 30th year managing condos at the "World of Tennis". However, we have guests that have been coming for more than 40 years. We have a past Guest List in excess of 2,000.

While over the past 30 years, most of our rentals have been weekend & weekly rentals, today, most of our rentals are furnished condos & homes.  Most of our guests are couples or families moving to the Lakeway Area & need a furnished condo or home until their home is completed or they find a residence to buy.  Our guests like the fact all our properties are fully furnished & they don't need to move their furniture twice.

We also have many requests from couples  visiting their children who live in the Austin/Lakeway area.


This home was designed & built 45 years ago, but has had numerous renovations to it over the years. When built, there was a large living area on the lower level with 12’+ ceilings with many large glass windows looking to the exterior and the covered glassed-in Atrium area with plants protected. Off the living area and adjacent to the atrium is a nice study & TV room. There also is a half guest bath adjacent to this area. There are double glass doors looking out toward the Pool Area.

Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms & 3 baths (2 of the baths have been added since the owner purchased the home.) One bedroom is very large & was used as a game room by the previous owner. The other area is a second living area upstairs which the owner expanded from the original plan. This 2nd living area & the 3 bedrooms have very high vaulted ceilings.

While it has a double drive-through carport, it could easily have garage doors added at both ends to convert it to a garage. Both this owner & the previous owner liked the drive-through concept & elected to leave it open.

The Outside is especially wonderful because the owner has taken time to add an Atrium/Solarium, Outdoor Dining, Outdoor Recreation area around the pool, and even a Breakfast area that makes you feel like you are outdoors because it is wall to wall windows and airconditioned, but has all the views from outside everywhere you look.
