ClubCorp & Golf Course
All the Lakeway amenities including the three golf courses and the World of Tennis Complex became a part of the Club Corp family of clubs in 1999. A fourth golf course, Flintrock has been added to the Lakeway & Club Corp Amenities.

Listed below are the four courses at Lakeway and some of the other courses that are available through your ClubCorp membership (click on the desired course to learn more).  Members and golfers from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area should consider playing “Forest Creek”, "Star Ranch", or “Riverplace” on their way to or from Lakeway. Members from the Houston area should consider “Lost Creek” or “Riverplace” on their way.

Yaupon Course - Lakeway: 512-261-7172
This course continues to be the favorite of our guests at Lakeway. It really exemplifies the feeling of the hill country with not only views of the hills but views of the lake, plus four water hazards.

Live Oak Course - Lakeway:  512-261-7173
This is the original course built in Lakeway. We would classify this as one of our most “User Friendly” courses. While it is challenging and fun, it is still fun for “medium to high handicap” players.

Hills & Flintrock Courses - The Hills:  512-261-7272
This is available only to “Hills” members and Club Corp members and their guests. However, if you are a One Member, you'll receive the golf cart rate. This course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and built in the early '80s and has consistently been rated as one of the top five courses in Texas. A second course, Flintrock has been added.

Falconhead Golf Course - Lakeway Area (15-20 min):  512-402-1558
This is a beautiful course, very close to Lakeway. We play it very often. You will not be disappointed.

Riverplace Country Club - Lakeway (20 min.):  512-346-1114
This was previously owned by Club Corp. This is probably the most exciting and scenic course in the Hill Country. You know you are in the “Hill Country” when you play this course. We would also suggest a few extra balls when playing for the first time. Guests coming from Dallas always take Ranch Road 620 at Round Rock to Lakeway. They only need to turn left (east) at Ranch Road 2222 for approximately a mile to the entrance of Riverplace. The picture at the top of the page is the Riverplace Country Club House.

We have had a number of tournaments for 40-50 of our college and present-day friends. We started our three-day weekend each December at this course with a “Scramble.”

Star Ranch I - 30 East of Round Rock (45 min.):  512-252-4653
This is one of the best public courses in the Austin area. It will exceed many of the private courses. With your golf game, you get a free buffet Breakfast & Lunch... not bad. Worth trying while here. Special rates for seniors. We play this course at least once monthly.

Forest Creek - Round Rock (45 min.):  512-388-2874
This is one of the best public courses in the Austin area. It is affiliated and managed by Club Corp. This allows Club Corp members to play with “Cart Only Rate” as an “Associate Gold Member.” This course is very accessible for guests coming from the Dallas direction. You can play this course coming or going and is only about 45 minutes from Lakeway.

We consider this as one of the fun courses in the Austin area and play it very often.

Lost Creek Country Club - Westlake/Austin:  512-892-2032
This course is adjacent to Barton Creek and Barton Creek Resort. A Pete Dye course built in the '70s having the same Hill Country terrain has made Barton Creek Resort one of the most exclusive and expensive resorts in the country. Houston guests coming to Lakeway only have to take Ben White Blvd. (Hwy. 71 and 290) to Cap. of Texas Hwy. and then a couple of miles to Lost Creek only 25 minutes from Lakeway.
